Experience the laughs on Sunday February 7th for “A Night of Comedy with Jane Fonda” at Caroline’s on Broadway. The Fund for Women’s Equality, the ERA Coalition and Agunda Okeyo present an exciting benefit to highlight and generate support for the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Joining Ms. Fonda in an all-star lineup are Judah Friedlander, Michelle Buteau, Sasheer Zamata and Wyatt Cenac plus other special guests.
The ERA Coalition is a collective of artists and advocates dedicated to advancing the agenda for women’s equal rights under the law. The ERA was initially introduced in Congress in 1923 after women won the right to vote in 1919. It was passed by Congress in 1972 but fell three states short of the 38 states needed for ratification by the time the deadline expired in 1982. It has been languishing since, nearly 100 years after its introduction. This benefit will be a stellar showcase with unique appreciation for humor, solidarity and social change. Support women’s equality and have a great evening at Caroline’s on February 7th with Jane Fonda and friends. To PURCHASE TICKETS visit www.eracoalition.org/comedy
