Every week Carolines has a showcase called “New Talent Showcase” and this show is highlighting the best acts from that series. It features the best of New York’s up and coming comics with hilarious host Melissa Diaz and one of Carolines’ favorites Yamaneika Saunders ( Last Comic Standing, Funny Girls on Oxygen, The Meredith Vieira Show) as headliner. For more than 15 years, Carolines has been the country’s premiere venue for discovering and developing the best new and emerging comedy talent. Carolines Best Of New Talent is putting the spotlight on the stars of tomorrow, today!

Line-up: 

Host - Melissa Diaz

Equally charming and hilarious, Bronx native Melissa Diaz wields her sharp wit to tackles everything from the patriarchy to the price of cigarettes. A unique and rising talent in the New York City comedy community, she’s a regular at Caroline’s on Broadway, was a finalist at the 2016 She-Devil Comedy Festival and a semi-finalist in 2017′s March Madness Comedy Competition at Caroline’s on Broadway. If only she could stop losing her phone.

Headliner - Yamaneika Saunders

Yamaneika Saunders has been captivating audiences with her dynamic stage presence for over a decade and across the entire country. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Yamaneika has since tackled both the New York and LA comedy scene by combining her high energy improv skills with a unique vulnerable perspective on life. This mix forces her to go beyond the typical humor one would expect to hear, and allows her to connect to audiences from any background. A semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing, one of the stars of Funny Girls on Oxygen and panelist on The Meredith Vieira Show, Yamaneika is finally bringing her talents to the world stage; let’s just hope they can handle her….

Patrick Haggerty

Patrick Haggerty is a New York based comedian who has featured at Atlantic City Comedy Club, The Stress Factory, and Carolines on Broadway. He is the co-host of a successful local podcast entitled The Slant and hosts and produces shows all over New York City and his hometown of Staten Island including shows for Laughing Buddha Comedy in Manhattan. He is the youngest of five which has lead to him needing a lot of attention explaining his becoming a standup comedian. 

Andrew Tint

Andrew Tint was born in New Jersey and lived in the Midwest for 5 years. He’s preformed in Philadelphia, Denver, and all over New York City. By day he gets to sell video advertising, the thing that disrupts your joy before Youtube videos.
