On May 12, Carolines on Broadway hosted the 13th annual “Stand Up for Madeline and OCRF,” a benefit for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) that pays tribute to the late, great Madeline Kahn. To date, the event has raised more than $1 million in support of the OCRF’s efforts.
The event included a silent and live auction and a comedy show featuring some of the country’s most talented comedians. Michelle Buteau, Jim Gaffigan (pictured), Nikki Glaser, Robert Klein, Hari Kondabolu, Joe Machi, and Mike Vecchione all donated their time and considerable talents to be a part of the event.
The OCRF is the oldest and largest charity in the United States funding ovarian cancer research. The OCRF’s mission is to fund scientific research that leads to more effective identification, treatment, and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer, as well as related educational and support initiatives.
