Our 2019 Carolines Comedy Madness Submission Guidelines are in!

The dates for the 2019 Carolines Comedy Madness stand-up tournament have just been announced.  The competition will take place on March 5, 12, 19, 26 and 27.

Below are the submission guidelines for any comedians interested in participating.

2019 Comedy Madness Submission Guidelines:

To be considered for the 2019 Comedy Madness competition, please submit by sending a 5-7 minute good quality video link (not .mov file, but link.. it’s totally fine if it’s password protected) to comedymadness2019@gmail.com.

Please only submit if you’re available to participate in all of the rounds of Comedy Madness which are: 

– Round 1: Tuesday, March 5th at 7pm – 1 minute sets, 64 comics

– Round 2: Tuesday, March 12th at 7pm – 2 minute sets, 32 comics

– Round 3: Tuesday, March 19th at 7pm – 5 minute sets, 16 comics

– Round 4: Tuesday, March 26th at 7pm  – 7 minute sets, 8 comics

– Finals: Wednesday, March 27th at 7:30pm – 10 minute sets (final 4), 15 minute sets (final 2)

IMPORTANT: Please confirm in your email submission that you are available all of those dates. If we don’t have this confirmation of your availability, your Comedy Madness submission will not count and we will not be able to enter you into the competition.

The submission cut-off is Thursday, January 31st, 2019 at 6pm EST. After that, we can not enter you into the competition.

You may be asked to perform on one of two audition rounds in February (dates for those TBD). If you are not asked to perform on an audition round, that does not mean you’re not in the competition. It just means we would like to see you live before making any final decisions.

The 2019 Comedy Madness Roster will be announced on Wednesday, February 13th at noon on the @CarolinesonBway social media and website.
