Andre D Thompson was born and raised in New York City where he began stand up at 18. He’s performed at comedy clubs all over the city such The Comic Strip Live, New York Comedy Club and Carolines on Broadway. In 2020 Andre made his television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

In 2019 Andre D Thompson became a Stand-Up NBC finalist and placed 3rd in the New York Comedy Club Invitationals. He’s worked at the Music Choice Network in a development capacity incubating content focused on hip-hop and pop culture. As a Host, he has interviewed artists including Camilla Cabello, Lil Yachty, Vic Mensa, Marshmello, DJ Khaled, and more. He has also been a digital ad campaign Brand Ambassador for companies such as Axe Body Spray and Bevel Shave Systems.

Carolines on Broadway is proud to present the Breakout Artist Comedy Series. This series put the spotlight on the very best and brightest emerging stand-up comedians in their very own headlining show. These are the comedians that are currently plying their trade and honing their craft on their way to becoming the stars of tomorrow.
