Melanie Comarcho

Melanie Comarcho was born in Chicago and raised in Inglewood, California. After high school she entered the Military (Army), and once honorably discharged she returned home. Melanie worked as an assembler/technician at Hughes Aircraft Co. in El Segundo, CA. Soon after, she married and had two daughters.

Shortly after entering comedy on a dare, she was spotted by producers of Def Comedy Jam. Melanie was laid-off from her job at Hughes Aircraft the day she taped her first Def Comedy Jam. She was the first stand-up that Chris Rock featured on his late night talk show. She also gives back by doing Fundraisers for Magic Johnson, Alonzo Morning, Ray Lewis and more.
