Southern-born fashion plate Sharon Spell is a comic, storyteller and actor who’s appeared on Adam Ruins Everything on truTV, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre’s Night Late, MTV’s Decoded, in videos on Funny or Die and as Sybil on Myrtle & Willoughby [JFL 2018 pitch winners].

On stage she’s appeared as “Sarah Suckabee Sanders” at Town Hall with Lady Parts Justice League’s Golden Probe Awards hosted by Margaret Cho, 

She regularly performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The Duplex, Caveat, and venues around New York City including stand-up on Butterboy at Littlefield and Schtick or Treat at The Knitting Factory. She was also featured on Best of the Fest at The She-Devil Comedy Festival 2018.

Sharon is a StorySLAM winner and MainStage performer at the Moth and has written and performed two solo storytelling shows: “You’re Doing Great!” selected for The Tank Theater’s Dead Parents Club Solo Show Festival, and “No Bummers” presented at SOLOCOM Fest at The PIT Theater. She co-hosts Gems Storytelling Show at Halyards Bar in Brooklyn. 

She is a producer and contributor on Night Late at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NY and is co-creator and actor in the web series Sad Marriage. is the host and producer of The Sharon Spell Show comedy podcast produced by GrumpyFILMS, inc.
