Hannibal Buress New Show Ordered By Comedy Central

Hannibal Buress

Hannibal Buress is set to have a new show on Comedy Central! Keep reading to learn more about it!

Comedy Central has ordered eight half-hour episodes of a new weekly series titled Why with Hannibal Buress which will begin airing this June. According to Deadline, the show will feature stand-up from Buress, filmed-segments, man-on-the-street interviews, and in-studio guests.

Since signing a development deal with Comedy Central in 2013, Buress’s career has blossomed. His starring role in the hit series Broad City, his second hour-long stand-up special Hannibal Buress Live From Chicago, and headlining both the 2013 and 2014 New York Comedy Festival are all testaments of this!

Last year Hannibal prematurely tweeted that Comedy Central had picked up his show Unemployable for ten episodes. Later that year on TBS’s Conan when he was asked why he made this up Buress stated  “I didn’t make it up, I just kinda put my dreams out into the world.”

Congrats to Hannibal on finally making his dreams come true!
