Do you believe Indian aunties should finally be paid for their nuanced, enlightened opinions? The answer is Yes!

So what are you waiting for? Come join us for this and more truths at Zarna Garg’s‘Auntie Unleashed’ standup comedy show at Carolines on Broadway.

At a time when we’re not able to travel, let Zarna bring India to you. Enjoy an easy evening of culture, laughs, food and drinks.

Zarna Garg is one a billion (literally)—an Indian immigrant, mom, and lawyer turned New York standup comedian and TikTok star (https://www.tiktok.com/@zarnagarg) with more than 25 million views on the platform. She is one of a handful of brown women comedians in the world, and quite possibly the only one who publicly takes on her mother-in-law.

Zarna has performed standup at sold-out clubs across the country and headlines her own show at the famous Carolines on Broadway. Unwilling to let the pandemic stop her, Zarna has kept audiences laughing with online comedy shows (as profiled in the New York Times) and impromptu sets outside major landmarks across New York City including Central Park and The Met attracting respectfully distanced audiences of up to 200.

Zarna is also an award-winning screenwriter with a movie inspired by her life story currently in development. This debut screenplay won Best Comedy Feature at the Austin Film Festival 2019 and was also a 2019 semi-finalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowships screenwriting program.
