SiriusXM Brings “Unmasked” Back to Carolines on Broadway with Jim and Jeannie Gaffigan

On Thursday, July 9, Carolines on Broadway proudly partnered with SiriusXM Radio once again to host a third taping of the satcaster’s popular “Unmasked’ show with host Ron Bennington and featuring Jim and Jeannie Gaffigan.   The pair kept the packed house entertained with a lively and insightful discussion with Bennington about  their new TV Land series, “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” which premieres next Wednesday, July 15, and Jim’s stand-up tour, among other topics.

This installment of “Unmasked” will air on Friday, July 10 at 2:00 PM on SiriusXM’s Raw Dog Comedy Channel 99 and will replay throughout the weekend.  

Previously, Carolines on Broadway has played host to “Unmasked” tapings with Opie & Anthony, celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary; and Dane Cook.

Laughter for a Good Cause

On May 12, Carolines on Broadway hosted the 13th annual “Stand Up for Madeline and OCRF,” a benefit for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) that pays tribute to the late, great Madeline Kahn.    To date,  the event has raised more than $1 million in support of the OCRF’s efforts. 

The event included a silent and live auction and a comedy show featuring some of the country’s most talented comedians.  Michelle Buteau, Jim Gaffigan (pictured), Nikki Glaser, Robert Klein, Hari Kondabolu, Joe Machi and Mike Vecchione all donated their time and considerable talents to be a part of the event.

The OCRF is the oldest and largest charity in the United States funding ovarian cancer research.  The OCRF’s mission is to fund scientific research that leads to more effective identification, treatment, and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer, as well as related educational and support initiatives.
